The NPPN Global Network is growing and as
we do you will find more and more national grassroots networks on our website.
Each national/regional prayer network will be given their own page so they can
post their vision and values as well as publicize their meetings and
initiatives.
It is our hope at NPPN that this will increase communication, provide ideas for
cooperation, and prompt collaboration from the usually stronger, more resourced
North American ministries.
No matter how few our dollars, our sister and brothers laboring in developing
nations and in persecution zones have less. their need is great and we must
increase our global concern by increasing our global connections.
Bless you as you bless others!
Pastor Phil
P.S. We've just begun, but take a look at our Global Network at:

"At a Dutch national conference in early May 2003, Pray Bergen coordinator
Sverre Bj?rnhaug spoke of the effects of a new prayer and evangelisation
strategy in Bergen," reports Marc vander Woude, prayer coordinator in the
Netherlands. In Bergen, as reported in a previous Friday Fax, Christians of all
confessions and denominations cooperate to reach the city with the Gospel.
One of the key concepts is the 'Lighthouse', of which 1,200 have been started.
They are places in which single Christians or whole families declare their
house, school or workplace as a place where neighbours, colleages or fellow
pupils are prayed for, cared for and can hear the Gospel. "That is very
effective," says vander Woude, "because it brings Jesus to the people, not the
people into a church building. The resulting societal change is also a topic in
the media; the front pages of newspapers regularly have photographs of prayer
meetings..."
The Lighthouse concept was developed by Ed Silvoso and others, and explained in
Jim Montgomery's book "Let your light shine" (
http://www.dawnministries.org ).

"In the 1980s, I was very happy when I would get a call or visit once or twice a
month from someone who wanted to become a follower of Jesus. In the 1990s, I was
very excited when I would get a call or visit once a week from several people
who wanted to become a follower of Jesus. In the 2000s, I am overwhelmed when I
get several calls or visits a month from people who say 'I have a group of 15 to
16 people who meet in my home, and we want to know more about Jesus. Can you
help us?'"

More than 12 million of India's 23 million Punjabis follow the Sikh religion,
which originated in Punjab state. Sikhs believe in only one God but they also
believe in reincarnation, a continuing cycling of lives until salvation is
achieved. For Sikhs, the true path to achieving salvation is attained by
living the life of a householder, earning an honest living, and avoiding worldly
temptations. The Bible is available in the Punjabi language, yet only a small
percentage of Punjabis have read the Bible and placed their faith in Jesus as
Lord. Enter the Father's presence on behalf of India's Punjabi people. Ask him
to send messengers of love and forgiveness to proclaim the good news of
deliverance in Jesus Christ. Pray that their eyes will be opened to the truth of
the gospel.

A volunteer from a country in Southeast Asia visited a national church planter
in India and gave the church planter a copy of the JESUS film. When the
volunteer returned to Bihar recently, she learned that the church planter had
shared the film with a friend who works for a television station in a large city
in India's Bihar state -- and the friend put the JESUS film on the air! Glorify
God for the amazing way he works in human hearts to reveal Christ to those who
have never heard! Pray that Bihari Muslims who saw the broadcast will seek God
and open their hearts to Christ. Ask God to multiply Bihari believers and start
a church-planting movement among India's 17 million Bihari Muslims.

A small group of believers in Sudan meet in a home each week to pray together.
After dark, a lone figure slips into the meeting, unnoticed by the neighbors.
The late arrival is the religious leader of the local mosque. He has been
attending these prayer meetings and asking many questions of the believers.
Rejoice that men like this "Nicodemus" are so hungry for the truth that they
will risk their reputations, incomes and even their lives to understand. Pray
that this mosque leader will continue to attend the prayer meetings and discover
Christ is the Answer to all his questions. Ask God to give him the courage to
receive the Truth.

The church in China is growing by 10,000 to 20,000 new believers each day, in
spite of the fact that the government officially adheres to a doctrine of
atheism. Though many servants of God are persecuted for their Christian walk and
testimony, remarkable witnessing opportunities are reported from many places
throughout China. Praise God for the great influx of new believers into Chinese
churches! Ask him to mature them into multiplying disciplemakers. Pray that the
testimony of persecuted believers will shine brightly, drawing others to the
Light of the World.
A Christian professional conducted a four-day business training conference in
Durban, South Africa, and more than 1,000 college students and professionals in
the audience heard her personal testimony. When the conference was over,
response cards indicated 373 attendees had prayed to receive Christ as Savior
and 615 had registered for follow-up classes that were to be offered around the
city! Glorify God for this marvelous response to a gospel witness! Ask God to
give Christian leaders the wisdom and manpower they need to follow up on these
decisions. Pray that these new believers will grow strong in Christ and lead
multitudes into the Kingdom.

>From: "EE Eurasia" <ee@gu.kiev.ua>
Our "Heart to Heart-EE" ministry vision is:
"EVERY NATION EQUIPPING EVERY PEOPLE GROUP AND EVERY AGE GROUP TO WITNESS TO
EVERY PERSON".
Our goal is to equip first the church's leaders and then loyalty, to share the
Gospel from heart to heart. It is the ministry of personal evangelism. We
strongly believe, that a key to evangelize the world are church's members, but
they need to be thought, how to share the Gospel.
We believe, that in present and future time all kind of evangelism, like mass,
tent evangelism, Jesus film, others... have to be organically combined with
personal heart to heart evangelism, follow-up and discipleship. Without it is
becoming more and more difficult to win people for Christ.
So, we develop EE ministry in the former USSR. Now we call it Eurasia or CIS
nations. We train all ages group: kids, youth, adults. seniors. We have prison
EE ministry, developing ministry for the deaf people.
You could find a lot of information about the ministry on our web:
www.ee-eurasia.org
We have structure of the ministry, 23 EE coordinators/directors, who leads the
ministry in the nations and regions. God blesses our ministry, we are growing
and we have a lot of projects and needs to be developed.
Our annual budget, which includes all kinds of EE activities in Eurasia, like
organizing 5-days seminars/ clinics, follow-up trips, translating/printing
projects on different languages, coordinators support, etc...is around 170,000.
We have different projects and we could name them concretely.
So, we are praying, that God would show us people, whom He is called to be
partners of our ministry.
May God richly bless you. Yours in Him, Nickolay

"If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity

words or tongue but with actions and in truth." ~ (1 John 3:17-18)
