*THE CRY FOR A PPG!
>From: A Pastor In A City Like Yours...
We need to get together and pray! God is wanting to bring revival among
us very soon. I
sense this deep in my spirit. You probably do also.
If you are like me, it is far easier not to connect with
Key Pastors
around you.
Something within us wants to walk alone and take our stand. I
have spent far too many years doing just that: walking alone and taking
“my” stand, independent of my fellow pastors and
ministers. God is breaking
my heart over this.
God continues to show me the personal pride that has
so ruled in my
life. A very short
time ago God peeled back my facade and
spoke to me of
repenting of the pride in my life. Well, since then He has showed me more
and more about the issue of my pride, particularly in
relationships within
leadership ranks.
Its and ugly thing. My heart is
broken over this, even
as I write to you now, I feel shame inside. God has and is forgiving me.
Why am I saying this?
Because I believe God has directed me to confess
my sin before those affected by my sin of pride. I am asking right now for
your forgiveness.
Would you forgive me?
Friday afternoon I asked a local leader of a significant
ministry, “help
me get connected, I am really tired of trying to do it
alone.” He asked me
what I specifically needed help with. My reply was that I need help with
discernment of “where to connect” and “how much to
connect.” Therefore, I
have begun the journey.
You may need that same help, I don’t know. Let’s
talk about it sometime. This much I do know...
·
You and I need to be seeking God’s face together.
·
Winning the lost and discipling the saved is still
uppermost in my heart,
and I believe also in yours.
·
We can do the work of Jesus better together than
independent of each other.
·
2000 is a “breakthrough year.” As David said after a
major battle with the
Philistines, “the Lord worked through me to accomplish a
great breakthrough.”
May it be so in 2000 for you, me and us! Let’s let the Lord work his
John 17 prayer through us that thousands be saved. Can you see it? Can you
envision one day soon there being mass gatherings in our
county wherein
many, many thousands of people are saved in successive meetings? And the
numbers keep growing. Churches filled with new converts. Hungry young
believers filling your
pews and altars. Lord
God Almighty, let it be in 2000. I
believe You have
brought us to the Kingdom for such a time as this!
Let’s start 2000 off right! Let’s pray and seek God’s face together.

*WOMEN’S MINISTRY LEADERS - ILLINOIS
>From: CGDunne@aol.com
If you are leading a women’s ministry for your church or a
para church
organization, we are looking for you. If you know a woman
in leadership,
could you help us by informing us of her duties and
whereabouts. We are
trying to put together a list of Women’s Leaders for the
State of Illinois.
We have vital information on the Chicagoland Prayer Summit
we would like to
send. We want to include everyone, the problem is we don’t
have a mailing
list of Women’s Ministry Leaders.
Our first mission is to invite the female leadership,
whether she is a
Pastor, Associate Pastor, or leading another ministry to
join us in the
Chicagoland Prayer Summit. We have mailed this invitation
to those of you we
know, but we also know there are many of you out there we
have not yet met.
If you could help us by identifying yourself, or someone
you know who fits
this description, we would like to be sure you the have
opportunity to come
to the summit on April 10-12.
I am available for questions through my email address
which is:
cgdunne@aol.com or by telephone at
312-943-3007. If you cannot attend the
summit but would like to be on a mailing list of women in
ministry for
upcoming events, use the same address to notify me. We
will keep you on the
mailing list for future mailings.
Thank you for your help and please join us in praying for
50 leaders to
commit to this time of seeking God for our City, State and
Nation. God bless
you all.

*DULUTH = FREEPORT
>From: JEastDulce@cs.com
Duluth, Sounds just
like Freeport Ill there. Pastors are suspicious,
others say, “we’ve tried that it won’t work. Even those
who are interested,
aren’t consistent. Since beginning a weekly Pastor’s
prayer meeting last
year. We’ve had as many as 10 there, but usually only 2-4.
Many times it’s
been just 2, me and Jesus. The week after we began I was
in an accident that
totaled my van, I had a concussion also. Over the past
several months the
churches involved have faced major issues. I had a woman
make up lies about
me. The
ceiling fell in in our kitchen, and I got a ticket for my
dog being lose. I
could go on and on. We are also mainline, charismatic, and
evangelical
camps, then add racial divisions and socioeconomic. But
Eph 3:17- 4:6 as
well as 2Chron 7:14 has kept us going. We have a core
group of 10 people
from 4 different churches, and 5 Pastor’s from different
demons, this Friday
we will have our 2nd areawide concert of prayer
in a main line church with
an African American praise leader and interdenominational
praise team. There
will be charismatics, mainline and evangelicals there
. It has all taken
much longer than we thought it would, but we have to keep
on. It’s God’s
will. Bless you! We know God is doing a work there. Ps 20
to you bro. God
bless. Jon in
Freeport. Pray for us ya’all.

>From: Deyssler@aol.com
Something fresh and new is taking place in Denver, Colorado. There are
now, about 20-25 pastor’s prayer groups and anywhere you
go pray, there is a
“ sense of expectation” . It seems like something is about
to “pop up”, and
we are so grateful with The Lord and his manifested
presence, there is a lot
of unity and excitement, and helping each other it’s a
pleasure. HO! HO!
Amen.

*RESPONSE TO PRAYER SUMMIT INQUIRY
>From: Debbie Morris <dmorris@MULTNOMAH.EDU>
>To: ‘Tim Goddu’
Dear Tim, I noticed your inquiry about Pastors’ Prayer
Summits in the
National Pastors’ Prayer Network. International Renewal Ministries has been
providing leadership and facilitation for Pastors’ Prayer
Summits for the
past eleven years.
Some of the pastors have shared how God impacted them
through the Prayer Summits.
“The Prayer Summit was a life changing event for me. I
have always known
that God’s undershepherds were to model praise, transparency,
confession,
reconciliation and dedication; but I have never
experienced it at the profound level manifested at the recent summit.”
“At the Prayer Summit, I gained a fresh sense of intimacy
with God through
corporate prayer and confession. I prayed, I listened to
God’s voice, I cried, I celebrated God’s presence... I was revived.”
“This time away with God has reminded me of His unswerving
unconditional
love for me, a frail and sometimes fickle man. This time
has given me
perspective, a glimpse of His passion for me, and a
kindling of spirits with
other pastors.”
We would be available to assist you in the process of a
Pastors’ Prayer
Summit. Please
feel free to contact us at (503)251-6455, or

*DITTO
>From: “Charles E. Carlson” <chuckc@c2i2.com>
>To: Tim Goddu <tgoddu@worldimpact.org>
Dear Tim,
We are in the midst of planning our 6th prayer
summit. Basically we plan to pray! We start after lunch on Mon and end with
lunch on Wed.
That gives us six segments of prayer and worship, each
about three hours
in length. We
begin each session with a time on worship, and move into
prayer from there.
We have a “listening team” that kind of sets a theme
for each segment of prayer, but we trust the Holy Spirit
to guide us.
Our theme this year is “consecrate ourselves”, personally,
in
relationships, in the church, and in the community. We break for meals,
and use that time to get better acquainted, and share
ideas and frustrations. We don’t have
speakers, but we do watch a couple of prayer related videos. This year it will
be “Hope for 2000” by PK, and the “Transformations” by Geo. Otis.
One of the highlights is communion on the last night,
because it is the
cross that is central to all that we do, and draws us
together in unity.
Personal pray for one another and laying on of hands has
also been a key
element. I hope this helps. Yours truly,

*SOUTHERN CA: 30 CHURCHES SUPPORT PPG NETWORK >From: WFJI@aol.com
A Praise Report!
Our pastors’ network has been meeting on a regular basis
for a little over 2
years now. Every 3rd Thursday of the month. We
thank our some 30 churches
who
have been so supportive of the network. We have seen some awesome things
happen in our network.
Pastors praying for pastors.
Pastors helping pastors. Pastors
encouraging pastors. Pastors assisting
pastors financially. Pastors donating
their time and talents to other pastors.
The word that the Lord gave to us, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity....it is like the
precious ointment
upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s
beard; that went
down to the skirts of his garments...for there the Lord
commanded the blessing!” Psalm 133:1-3.
We felt the presence of God in our last meeting where 36
pastors, wives,
evangelists, missionaries and leaders held hands and sang
a simple chorus of
worship and praise to the Lord. We felt the Lord was pleased that these
servants were together in unity, in love and in peace.
Most pastors are overburdened, overworked, underpaid, and
under appreciated.
We have endeavored to make our pastors network a place
where pastors can
come
to be refreshed, to relax, to laugh, to fellowship, to be
encouraged and of
course to pray.
There is no agenda. There is no
motive - no pressure. Out
of this fellowship God has brought forth His dreams,
visions and plans.
And we have seen churches helping churches. Imagine, pastors donating
money
to a pastor so that their church could go out and buy
gifts for the Angel
Tree project. Or,
pastors donating to a pastor who had a mission project in
Mexico. Or,
pastors networking on major projects such as Body of Christ
2000
and Revival 2000 -- because of love. It is truly awesome when pastors come
together in love.
We need to encourage our co-workers. And let them know that we love them
and
appreciate their work whether large or small. And, we need to thank you
Phil
and Mission America for providing a national network of
praying pastors who
are believing that the revival and renewal we have been
waiting for will
come to America before the new millennium actually beings
in 2001.

*FREEPORT, IL: SUBMISSION: THE “KEY” TO SUCCESS
>From: “Alan R. Bonness” <NEWCREATION@stateline-isp.com>
Thank you for your interest. There is so much to say, I’ll be as brief as
possible. God
blessed our gathering (at least in ways I could see) With
150-200 people; in that, 18 different denominations, as
well as many
different ethnic and cultural backgrounds were a part of
God’s prayer
concert (Latino, African-American, Asian, and
Anglo-Saxon). He blessed it
in that those present submitted to the different styles of
worship of each
group-everything from quiet traditional to loud
charasmatic styles were
represented in our “order of service” as well as different
styles of prayer
within the service.
In the words of a co-coordinator and dear brother “you
had to be there”. Both to experience the love for one
another, as well as
the presence of our God.
I had for a brief moment a picture of our Father
smiling on us-His joy was definitely there in seeing His
children praising
together. This is
a way toward unity between us.
Submission, in Christ, is the key. If we are to win in this battle, we must
submit. We must
submit ourselves to the will of God; to accepting His word
that as sinners we can’t do anything but evil outside of
Him. We must
submit to each other within the body, as servants-even to
the point of
suffering-so God may use us in each other’s lives. This so we may live in
unity-helping each other work out our calling-being an
example to the lost.
Then we must submit to the unsaved, that the chance, and
their desire would
open a door to testify to the love of our Papa-Father.
Submission was the key to the “success” of our prayer
concert. It is the
key to revival within the church, it is the key to the
world accepting the
truth, or rejecting the truth (which is so often muddied
by the infighting
between God’s children.
Right now, most of the world doesn’t see the truth
because instead of submitting to each other as brothers
and sisters, we fight like bitter enemies.
If you are seeking reconciliation, which must come before
revival, I have no
doubt of the absolute need for submission. Your servant,
Alan Bonness

*PASTORS’ PRAYER GROUPS: TWO QUESTIONS
>From: Revival4IL@aol.com
I work with the Lighthouse Movement in Central, IL and I
live in Peoria. I
am interested in two things, but I did not see when I was
visiting your sight, but I probable overlooked them.
The first is do you have a listing of Pastor Prayer groups
I would be interested in all those who are meeting in Central, IL so that I could
promote them as I travel and minister in IL.
--->NPPNote: Rod, we are beginning to list PPGs on our
web page. You
could help us by signing up any that you know as well as
asking those you
become aware of to do the same: http://www.nppn.org/ppg
The second is what resource would you recommend that has
been successful in
bring pastors together for prayer.
--->NPPNote: I have written an article on the
subject
(http://www.nppn.org) but the best
resource is a persistent pastor (or
faithful intercessor!) who won’t give up, even if only 2
or 3 gather. I am
blessed to see a renewed interest in PPGs by several
national ministries and
am trusting that as our web site PPG directory grows
toward 2,000 we will
see a resurgence in America and beyond! Rod - please let
NPPN know what kinds of additional response you get. We are all learning
through this network conversation!

*SPENCER, NEBRASKA: PPG
>From: Gene & Alice Bishop <gabis4u@threeriver.net>
We have started a ppg sin our area. At least sorta.
Currently there are
2-3 of us who meet every Tuesday @ 1:00 PM At the
Methodist Church Parsonage
in Spencer, Nebraska.
I feel that we are ready for the next level of prayer
time. Usually our prayers are for personal concerns and
there is nothing
wrong with that but I believe that Boyd county in Nebraska
needs a real work
of God. Boyd
county is a rural community about 1,800 residents with 4 major
communities in North central Nebraska. I have been in the area a little
over 2 ˝ years and have really noticed there are strong
walls of division
and denominationalism.
Also there have been issues of fights over schools
and
for the last 10 years or so a fight with the government
over the placing of
a low level dump near one of our communities which now
seems to be over with
it not happening.
Some of us have a good working relationship but how does
one help the
others to cross lines and learn to work and pray together?
Some pastors
won’t attend our ministerial association meetings, common
meetings or the
prayer meetings or try to find common ground with each
other because of
doctrinal differences. Anybody with any ideas and
thoughts. Will appreciate
any and all thoughts.

*PPG’s: GOD’S GRACE + A LILY GRANT
>From: PGrabill@aol.com
Paul Grabill, senior pastor of State College
Assembly of God (State
College, Pennsylvania), adjunct seminary professor, and
longtime participant
in several Central Pennsylvania pastors’ prayer networks
has recently
received a Lily Foundation/Louisville Institute grant to
study locally based
pastoral unity movements across America. The grant includes a month (June
2000) of travel to visit specific local pastors’ prayer
groups (PPGs) and to
report findings on the trends are emerging from them.
He is requesting email contact with groups that would meet
the following
criteria:
(1) PPGs which exist in
communities of over 15,000 population.
(2) PPGs which have
existed more than one year.
(3) PPGs that are
relationally/prayer-based rather than professionally (for
instance, traditional ministerial) based.
(4) PPGs that have
bridged beyond denominational evangelicals and/or independent
charismatics. The groups must include
at least a few individuals (though possibly evangelical in doctrine and
practice) with ministerial credentials or pastoral ministry in historic Protestant
denominations (such
as United Methodists, PCUSA, UCC, ELCA, etc.) and/or
Roman Catholic/Eastern
Orthodox. The
group should not be dominated by any particular denomination
or single stream, such as independent charismatics or
independent fundamentalists.
(5) PPGs which have
risked cooperation in at least one or two public ventures.
What would NOT qualify: Traditional seasonal joint
worship services
(such as Thanksgiving, Lenten services, etc.), traditional
joint means of
caring for the poor (such as Salvation Army cooperation),
joint evangelical
outreach with traditional crusade evangelism with no
lasting post-crusade
structure, and political/social cooperation (such as a
joint statement on
abortion, gay rights, etc.), Joint sponsorship of
traditional local
ministries such as a Christian radio station or a Crisis
Pregnancy Center.
What WOULD qualify (not a complete list): Joint
Sunday am worship
service with more than 4 diverse congregations (not same
denomination or
theological stream), Continuing joint renewal services,
Joint intercessory
prayer groups, Joint Spiritual Research/Mapping team,
Pulpit-trading (more
than one or two congregations), Joint Lighthouse of Prayer
effort, Joint
Jesus Video project,
Joint Promise Keeper ministry, Joint Water Baptismal Service,
Any form of
local accountability structure, Public endorsement of the
PPG by ecclesiastical officials at a denominational level.
(6) PPGs that have at
least raised in discussion the possibility of
enduring, post-denominational “new wineskins,” whether or
not an attempt has
been made to move in that direction.
If you are part of a PPG that meet these criteria and
would be interested in
participating in a national study of emerging trends in
PPGs, please email
Paul Grabill at pgrabill@aol.com. Please include the following in your
email: (1) Please cut-and-paste the 6 criteria above with
short comments
inserted as to the status of your local PPG, (2) Please identify, if any,
the local PPG leader or leaders, and (3) If you are able
to speak for the
group, please indicate if you would be open to a brief
(typically 1 hour)
visit from Paul during the month of June.
Thank you for your willingness to participate in a study
which has the
possibility of helping to inform the Body of Christ in
America as to what
the Spirit is saying to the Churches in each city.
---NPPNote: This opportunity for Paul is a sign the
Lord is serious
about maturing our understanding of PPGs - Please provide
any assistance you
can. Let’s continue the conversation of seeking to build a
network of PPGs
that serve a revived church and a transformed community!

*MISSION HOUSTON: MODEL FOR OTHER US CITIES-?
>From: “Jim Herrington” <jhmh@flash.net>
In its January meeting the Mission Houston Leadership Team
adopted a record
budget and assigned new responsibilities to Ken
Shuman. Mission Houston is
a citywide ministry that serves the whole body of Christ in
the Greater
Houston area as it unifies and mobilizes to reach the
whole city with the
gospel. The
Mission Houston staff team serves pastors of local
congregations and leaders of widely recognized ministries
- networking them
in prayer and assisting them as they work with other
community entities to
prayerfully discern and implement a strategic plan for the
transformation of
their part of the city. The ministry was formed in 1995 by
several citywide
ministry leaders and has rapidly grown to involve hundreds
of pastors from
across the denominational, cultural and racial spectrum of
the church.
The Leadership Team, which serves as a governing board for
the ministry,
adopted a budget of $771,100 in its January 2000
meeting. This represents a
dramatic increase over 1999 and reflects the tremendous
responsiveness of
pastors and churches to this ministry. Jim Herrington, Mission Houston’s
Executive Director, said that the ministry has surpassed
its three year
financial goals in its first year. The ministry began with four full-time
staff members and then expanded unexpectedly and
considerably in 1999. “The
growth of our staff has been a God thing. Over the first 9 months of 1999
five pastors of healthy, growing congregations left their
churches to join
the Mission Houston team.” Herrington said, “I told them that we did not
have the resources to provide a pay check. But one at a
time - each in
his/her own way - came back to say that pay check or not,
this was a vision
that God had put in their heart.” The greater Houston area has a population
of nearly four million people with approximately 2500
churches. Developing
relationships that result in substantive unity among
pastors among this many
churches is an enormous task. “Though we were surprised at the timing of
God in calling this team together, we are deeply
grateful. This allows us
to accelerate the achievement of our vision,” Herrington
said.
Mission Houston has divided the city into 21
geographically defined regions
for the purposes of administering their work. Each staff member serves two
or three regions which will contain 175-300 congregations.
The budget provides a staff to serve the pastors of the
city, and it
provides for ministry projects such as the annual Greater
Houston Area
Pastors’ Prayer Summit.
Jim Herrington, Mission Houston’s Executive
Director, said that funding for the work comes from three
primary sources.
“The largest source of funding is from individuals who are
able to give over
and above their tithes and offerings to the local
church. Local churches
are the second source of funding, and local foundations
provide the third
source.”
Herrington said that the number of churches who are supporting the
ministry increase significantly each year. “We believe that within three
years local churches will be our primary source of
income,” Herrington said.
In other matters of business, the Leadership Team affirmed
a proposal to
make Ken Shuman the Co-Director of Mission Houston. Shuman is the founding
pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in northwest Houston
where he served as
Senior Pastor for 13 years. He joined the Mission Houston team in 1999 as a
city-reaching catalyst for communities as diverse as
Spring, Humble,
Greenspoint, the 5th Ward and the near
northeast side. In this new role
Shuman will coordinate the work of the eight member staff
and oversee
citywide ministry projects undertaken by Mission
Houston. Herrington will
continue to cast the overall vision for Mission Houston
and will guide the
development efforts for the organization.

*ATLANTA: A CALL TO REACH YOUR CITY
>From: Jacquie J Tyre <j-mtyre@juno.com>
Announcing upcoming Pastor and Intercessor Gatherings and
an upcoming one
day conference, “Reaching Atlatna: A Day of Equipping with
Ed Silvoso.”
For many years many pastors, churches, and prayer teams
have prayed for
revival and reconciliation across the metro-Atlanta area.
We believe the
time is upon us to
call for all who have a burden to see these prayers
answered to gather for the purpose of networking together
across this
great city. There
is no limit to what God can do through His Church, if
we come together in the “unity of the Spirit in the bond
of peace.”
Let’s answer His call and discover what He desires for us
in these days!
Three introductory Pastor and Intercessor Prayer
Breakfasts are scheduled
for:
February 8, 2000 10:00-11:30 a.m.
February 24, 2000 10:00-11:30 a.m.
March 7, 2000 10:00-11:30 a.m.
These will be held at the SALVATION ARMY facility, located
right off I-85
at the North Druid Hills Road exit. (This is on the north end of the
city, inside the perimeter. Parking is limited, so
car-pool if possible.)
Invitations will be mailed this week to 5,000+ pastors in
Atlanta. Additional postcards are
available to anyone who would like to hand-distribute them to interested
pastors/others.
A Day of Equipping for Pastors, Staff Members, Prayer Leaders/Intercessors:
“Reaching Atlanta: A Day of Equipping with Ed Silvoso:
March 23, 2000
Times and Location to be announced.
(Currently the Salvation Army location is secured, but it
only seats 900.In anticipation of a large turnout alternative locations are
being investigated. Ideas and
suggestions are welcomed.)
The desired outcomes from the Pastors and Intercessors’
Prayer Breakfasts
and the “Reaching Atlanta” event with Ed Silvoso:
1. Generate growing
interest and enthusiasm for a widespread, interdenominational, collective
effort of prayer for Atlanta.
2. Establish the
credibility and integrity of this effort in the minds of
potential participants (pastors and intercessors).
3. Create a steering
committee who will explore opportunities to create structure for this beginning
effort - which will formally “launch”, rather than end with the 3/23 “event”.
4. Pastors and
intercessors will deepen their commitment to pray for
Atlanta and those who are not currently participating
in prayer efforts
will form prayer groups based on geographical
location, personal passion,
availability, or other parameters they collectively
determine.
Finally, a steering committee is currently forming and a
search for
others from across Atlanta who sense the leading of the Lord
to join as
servant leaders to the larger Body of Christ across the
metro-Atlanta
area are invited to make contact via e-mail. Please send your name,
address, phone number, e-mail address, church affiliation,
ministry
(pastor, intercessor, para-church organization, etc.); also,
additional
information regarding your involvement with a Pastors
Prayer Group or an
intercessors/revival prayer group, and a brief word about
your desire
and/or vision for Revival in Atlanta would be welcome, but
not necessary.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Pursuing His Glory in Atlanta, Jacquie Tyre, for the
Steering Committee

years. How I wish
I had taken more time to affirm her and yes, to be home
when I said I would.
We often add another stop, another call, another person to
the end of
the day. As a
result we bring home our leftovers. How
long since you have
learned (or remembered) your wife’s love language and
spoken it to her? She
yearns for your undivided attention. Listen to her tonight with the same
intensity given
earlier to a troubled heart whom you may never see again.
“Drink water from your own cistern and fresh water from
your own well . . .
rejoice in the wife of your youth!” (Proverbs 5:15) How I thank God for my
wife... Her love is the most precious thing on this
earth. She is the sweetest wife a man
could ever want.
Bob Yawberg (Marilyn too).

*CENTRAL, FL: CONCERTS OF PRAYER
>From: MCB1997@aol.com
In January, we completed 40 consecutive months of Concerts
of Prayer
here in the Central Florida area. For the past three and a half years, we
have gathered and prayed continuously for unity in the
Body of Christ and
strong relationships between pastors and intercessors; we
cried out for the
old wineskins to burst open and reveal the new ones
prepared inside; we
called forth the apostolic team ministry that would serve
as leadership for
the Church of Orlando, the Body of Christ in our
city! We challenged the
church to move out of its comfort zone and into the “City
Beautiful”Š to
touch the “unlovely and the unloved”, so that eyes would
be opened, lives
would healed and many would come into the Kingdom. God is honoring those
prayers, and bringing that to pass!
As we move into the 21st century, the Concerts of Prayer are taking a
new courseŠthey will now be coordinated through the new
YOUTH NETWORK that
has been formed to unite the youth pastors, workers &
leaders from our
Central Florida area.
They realize the critical need for concerted prayer,
and will begin meeting on a monthly basis in Concerts of
Prayer that will
focus on the youth of our city. We are calling on all intercessors to support them as we pass
the baton for COP to them for this season.

*SPOKANE, WA: RESPONSE TO #031
>From: “George Pontius” <pastorgeorge@integrityonline4.com>
I really appreciated the NPPN article on the Light-House
Vision. Our
men’s ministry is going to handle this outreach in our
church and this will
be a great help.
Our church is unique as it left a liberal denomination
almost five years ago.
Since then we have moved into a very conservative
position Biblically and for the first time in it’s history
have begun
outreach evangelism both abroad (missions) and now at
home. We have grown
from about 40 to an average attendance of around 70-80
each Sunday. Last
year we baptized 12 and received 13 into membership. Now our men are planning to lead the Light
House outreach in our neighborhood.
God bless you and your ministry. I appreciate getting your e-mails
regularly.
Sincerely in Christ, Pastor George Pontius, Lincoln
Heights Congregational
Church -
Independent, Spokane, WA.
