€FROM THE WORLD PRAYER CENTER
>From: JByerly542@aol.com2 / >Date: Fri, Apr 2, 1999, 6:07 PM
Here at the Prayer Center we do lift up and pray for the many Pastor events
that are taking place across our land. Thanks for keeping me posted.
One of the major things happening here currently are our times of Worship
and Prayer. I know Father loves this House because His Presence here is so
real. I just concluded a three hour prayer meeting this afternoon on Good
Friday. We had about 50 who showed up in spite of an 8 inch snow. It by now
has snowed four additional inches.
We are establishing a forty day Worship and Prayer 24 hours. We are praying
for Revival. God is cleaning us every time we gather. It has so blessed me
to be a part of unceasing prayer...Bobbye

€CHICAGOLAND LIGHTHOUSES
>From: "Haskin, Lawrence D"
Just wanted to let you know, our congregation will kick off several
lighthouses of prayer on May 6, 1999, the national day of prayer. Also,
some of my co-workers and I have established 7 lighthouses of prayer at the
job. Co-workers gather before and after work and for breaks during the day
to pray for our co-workers. There is at least one small prayer group
meeting Mon-fri. Thanks Again, Pastor Haskin, Household of Faith

€LIGHTHOUSE REPORT
>From: Merlin Baker
Phil, new blessings from our Lighthouse of Prayer! Just a few minutes ago
a young father who is divorced came to me and thanked me for the Jesus video
and our card telling him that we have been praying for him. He said he had
many theological questions that he would like to discuss with me. We are
going to lunch! PTL! Also, discovered that there is another LHOP in our
neighborhood, and we are getting together. This ministry is very much a
part of our life. I teach others on how to set up a LHOP and how to
dedicate their home as a LHOP. We have a goal of 1,500 LHOP in Beaver
County Pennsylvania. My
teaching schedule is heavy for the next month, as I try to do my pastoral
work as well.

€GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS FOR PASTORS TO PRAY TOGETHER
>From: Larry Zumwalt
I read about your net work of pastors praying for revival. How can I
become apart of that work? I and several pastors here in Peru, IN are
praying for our community, but need to reach out and pray for others as
well. Pastor Larry D. Zumwalt
--->NPPNote: Our car broke down on a long road trip and was repaired in
Peru, Indian several years ago. While waiting for repairs, we stopped in a
Christian bookstore and as I read some local event information, I asked the
Lord to connect me with the pastors who pray together in that town--PTL!

€INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY
>From: "mnoble"
Hi there. My name is Mike Noble and I'm a pastor in Cleveland. Last year
the Lord allowed me with the encouragement of pastors who cover me to begin
a men's intercessory prayer ministry called Daniel.. It is built on the
premise of Ezek 22:30; "I looked for a man among them who would build up the
wall and stand in the gap..." and Isaiah 62:6..."I have posted watchmen on
your walls oh Jerusalem..." Men are realizing a call from God to stand and
take up their watch on the wall as Daniel's in the land. So, a Daniel group
is simply a group of ten men in a church, with their pastor's permission and
participation who come together weekly to pray for revival. The revival
must start though in their own heart, and move outward...to their
children...their youth group, their church, neighbors etc. Then Daniel
groups then come together to work a larger corporate prayer plan like a
watch night, or prayer walk, or prayer clock. God is waking up the sleeping
giant...the men who are called as intercessors. If you'd like more
information..(lots more), contact me. mnoble@iol13.com
. You may be a Daniel. Thanks, Mike

€EAST PRAIRIE, MO
>From: "Larry Smith"
My name is Pastor Larry Smith. I am the pastor of the First Church of God
in East Prairie, MO where great things are happening because of Jesus!
I have been meeting once a week for prayer with another local pastor, Jerry
Willer of the First United Methodist Church in East Prairie
(jwiller@ldd.net). Through these meetings and also through a local group of
men from all denominations called Celebrate Jesus 2000, we have been
planning to take the plan of salvation to every household in East Prairie.
For forty days before Easter, Jerry, I, and others in our churches prayed
for every household in our town. We also began to raise money to purchase
Jesus videos for each house. We raised our goal and ordered the videos.
They will be distributed beginning on Sunday, April 11, 1999!!! We take the
Great Commission very seriously here and are working with God's help to
introduce Jesus to everyone in our town. We would appreciate prayers that
the hearts and minds of the video recipients would be open to the Gospel and
that the Holy Spirit would be with us as we go from house to house to offer
the gift of salvation to all who would choose it. Please pray for the
pastors of East Prairie that they would wish to join my Tuesday morning
prayer meeting with Jerry. In Christ, Brother Larry
Celebrate Jesus 2000 Plans Distribution of Jesus Videos / By: Carole Henry
Christians are planning to travel all over East Prairie beginning on April
11, 1999 in a massive effort to spread God's love and tell about the plan of
salvation. For the past several months, the interdenominational group has
been raising money to purchase videos depicting the life of Jesus. Millions
of copies of the Jesus videos have been distributed all over the world and
have brought countless numbers of people to accept Christ as their personal
savior.
For the past 40 days, volunteers have been praying diligently for every
household in East Prairie. Next, they will give each household a copy of
the Jesus video. The volunteers will be meeting on Sunday, April 11, 1:45
p.m. at the Family Life Center on N. Washington to pray for the Holy Spirit
to be with them as they ring every doorbell in East Prairie over the next
weeks to give their gift.
Celebrate Jesus 2000 has been praying that many lives will be changed on
this day as God's love is spread throughout East Prairie through this
project. After all the videos have been distributed, volunteers plan to make
a follow up call to each household so that anyone with questions, wishing
further guidance or prayer will have an opportunity for discussion on a one
to one basis.
Celebrate Jesus 2000 would like to thank everyone who has given money,
time, and prayers to this project. For many, this is an answer to years of
prayers for cooperation between churches and for reaching everyone in East
Prairie with the good news of Jesus

The Three Greatest Hours of Broadcasting!
The Nationally Broadcast Concert of Prayer (NBCOP/www.concertofprayer.org)
is a three-hour, prime time television, radio and Internet event begun in
1994 as the
culmination of the National Day of Prayer, which was established by Congress
and signed into law in 1952. It is sponsored by the National Prayer
Committee (www.npc.org), a 25-year old non-profit corporation whose members
represent a coalition of respected Christian leaders committed to mobilizing
united prayer among U.S. Christians. The broadcast is highly participatory
for groups or individuals, with song lyrics and scripture texts on-screen
and significant blocks of time dedicated to congregational prayer.
Designed to be broadcast into churches and small groups, last year,
hundreds
of television stations and radio stations carried the broadcast. Many
stations are expected again this year, and crosswalk.com has been added as
the exclusive Internet location for
both the live simulcast of the event - in RealAudio and RealVideo - and
real-time "prayer huddle" chat rooms that allow the Web audience to
participate with each other in online prayer while the live audiences in
five separate locations do the same.
Noted speakers and artists expected to participate this year include: James
and Shirley Dobson, Bill Bright, Lloyd Ogilvie, Joy Dawson, Jack Hayford, EK
Bailey, The Maranatha! Praise Band, Ron Kenoly, Paul Cedar, Fernando Ortega,
Floyd Flake, Nam Soo Kim, Ron Sider and others.

€HISPANIC OUTREACH - CHICAGO
>From: Wegoruiz@aol.com>
Blessings and Good News, I would like to inform you that we had for the
first time in many years a Hispanic Evangelistic Concert in West Chicago,
This was a reality because of the collaboration of other two small Hispanic
churches from this area. The concert was a big success we had 250 in
attendance in our gym, and 40% were lost people. We gave away 100 Jesus
Videos in Spanish to the visitors as we gather their names and addresses for
follow up.
Eliezer Gonzalez Pastor of the West Chicago Hispanic Bible Church, Angel
Garcia Pastor of the Upper Room Hispanic Church M.C.A., Tony Hancock
Minister of missions of the West Chicago FBC and my self, have been meeting
for prayer and this project was born out of that prayer group. So we are
really exited and now we want to work together to reach out our city. Please
pray for us because we are planning to have an activity every quarter. Next
project is a bilingual march (March for Jesus) on May 22.
Thanks for your prayers, Rev. Ariel Ruiz, Senior Pastor, West Chicago
FBC/PIB
