€A GOD-? IDEA...
>From: Martin Swan
>Date: Fri, Mar 26, 1999, 11:40 AM

Dear Phil God bless you in the Name of Jesus. As the prayer partners come
together and the network spreads, what about announcing a special day of
world wide prayer for revival when all in the NPPN and all our fellowships
and prayer groups can pray simultaneously??. God bless all my Brothers and
Sisters from Martin Swan, England.
--->NPPNote: I told Martin I would ask for your prayer-birthed feedback. Is
it possible that we could call for a day when pastors around the globe meet
together for (at least) an hour of prayer for revival and spiritual
awakening? How many new Pastors' Prayer groups might be birthed on that day?
>What do you think?
>What day would be good for countries throughout the world?
I anticipate hearing from others in England plus Canada, Australia, Africa,
Italy...Thank you Martin for what may be a God-idea to network the networks
of pastors worldwide!

€CINCINNATI AREA
>From: MarkLuth@aol.com
>Date: Sat, Mar 20, 1999, 12:53 PM

I want to share with you the recent experience of our congregation,
Friendship Lutheran Church in the Cincinnati area. After I had spent some
time at the close of last year emphasizing the importance of prayer, several
individuals approached me and said they would like to begin a prayer
ministry at Friendship. They began looking at the outstanding prayer
ministry they have at Lutheran Community Church of Joy in the Phoenix area
(where Walt Kallestad is the senior pastor) and about eight weeks ago, began
gathering on Sunday mornings prior to our worship celebrations. The agenda
for these gatherings is simple: (a) Prayer for concerns elicited from five
households over the course of the week. (b) To pray for the Gospel to
penetrate our community and for people to come to faith in Jesus Christ. (c)
To pray that the Spirit will fill our worship time and that God would use me
to convey the Gospel and all its implications to the people gathered for
worship.

Participation has been fairly good. But the impact has been observable.
We've been seeing a higher-than-ordinary number of visitors (even last
Sunday when our part of Cincinnati was hit with a major snowstorm). Members
are reporting that they're getting a lot out of my messages (which, at a
rational level, I know to be quite ordinary).

Over the years, my experience has been that whenever God's people pray,
wonderful things happen. But I also know that as we pray, we attract the
attention of the Enemy. So, I'm being prayerful about that as well.

May I ask you to pray for Friendship Church, our prayer ministry and its
growth, a growing commitment to reaching out to others, and freedom from
temptation, sin, and the assaults of Satan. We're still a fairly small and
fragile congregation, not yet in our own building. It has been an uphill
climb in starting and developing the church. But God really is good. Your
prayers would be deeply appreciated!

God bless you all. God bless Phil Miglioratti as you begin your full-time
prayer ministry.

>From: WDLNDTEAM1@aol.com
>Date: Tue, Mar 23, 1999, 4:34 PM

Thanks for putting me on the Prayer e-mail network. I have a request.
Woodland Community Church is Kicking Off this Easter Sunday and we could use
prayer support in all the areas you can Imagine. We especially need prayer
for our Children's Ministry area for teachers etc. I am also praying for God
to send some prayer warriors my way so that this church is built on a solid
foundation. We expect between 100-150 people for our first Sunday. Pray for
conversions, recommitments and laborers in all areas. Wisdom in leadership
as well. Thanks for listening and praying. The Kingdom Grows, Glen Wagner

€FLORIDA PRAYER NETWORK
From: "Pam Olsen"
Date: Sun, Mar 21, 1999, 3:17 AM

Phil,
Thanks for all you do for Pastors and others across the country. Your
e-mails are very helpful in uniting people and ministries together for the
cause of Christ. You are in our prayers. I am sending you our monthly prayer
alert from Florida. I hope that people from Florida will let me know what
prayer ministries they are involved. We want to join together in prayer for
our state and nation. God bless you, Pam

To: Florida Prayer Network Prayer Warriors--
Purpose Of FPN: Florida prayer network seeks to unite individuals, churches,
and ministries to form a prayer network to seek God for the healing of our
nation; to pray for revival: and to pray for the strengthening of families
throughout Florida and our country. Through a united effort of prayer, our
state and nation can be changed! "The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man avails much." James 5:16.

Dear Prayer Warriors,
Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus! I hope may of you have
been participating in the 40 days of prayer and fasting that PrayUSA! has
called. I will include the last days of specific prayer request at the end
of this alert. It is exciting to see people across our nation pray for
repentance and revival. As we come together in corporate prayer we WILL see
prayers answered. The call across the nation is to bring people to together
in corporate prayer. We must come together in unity to stand against the
plans of the enemy. God is calling His people to unite in repentance and
pray for America. I have been encourage in this last month as God has begun
to bring together prayer ministries and individuals across Florida to
earnestly seek the Lord for revival in our state. Please know that we can
make a difference on our knees, if our hearts and prayers are united and not
divided. I hope you don't mind if I share something I read in a magazine
last month that really encouraged and challenged my heart, I hope it does
the same for you. I will list the prayer needs after these quotes: " Attempt
something so big for God that unless God intervenes it is bound to fail.
There is a place in the Christian community for the dreamer. Most of us
dream, however, then put them aside as impossible. Yet God never puts a
desire in our heart, or beckons us to walk on water, unless He intends for
us to step out on faith and at least make the attempt. Whether we achieve or
not is almost immaterial; the passing of the test lies in whether we try, in
whether we're willing to be obedient to the inner call to greatness-the
onward call to spiritual adventure." Are you willing to take a step of faith
and walk out the vision God has given you. I hope you will join me in taking
the steps necessary to see revival in Florida. Steps of repentance, prayer,
not giving up, expecting God to really move on the hearts of our leaders,
speaking the vision of revival to others. I believe God wants us to join our
hearts and prayers together to walk out the vision and truly see REVIVAL!

PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. The healing of our nation: for repentance and salvation of our
leaders. Pray for President Clinton, Hillary and Chelsea as well as the Vice
President and other national leaders.
2. Legislators and Legislative Session, now through April 30: Governor
Bush, Senate President Toni Jennings, Speaker of the House John Thrasher,
for the Florida Cabinet members for all our Representatives and Senators.
Please pray that they pass godly legislation. There are several pro-life
bills that need to be passed, please pray they are passed. Please lift up our
FL. Supreme Court Judges as well. I hope that you will consider "adopting"
one of our state leaders. "Adopt-a-Leader" program of the National Day of
Prayer task force. It is a great way to encourage and change the hearts of
our leaders. When you "adopt" them, you are committing to pray daily for
your leader for at least six months and to write them a note of
encouragement. We have seen leaders accept Jesus Christ and their lives
changed through this prayer program. If decide to adopt a leader, please let
me know. If you would like more information on our "Adopt-a-Leader" program
please contact me.
3. Pastors and their families: please pray for protection, guidance and
anointing. Please consider "adopting" your pastor in the same way as
leaders. Pastors need prayer and encouragement, this is a key to revival. If
you need more information on the "Adopt-a-Pastor" program please contact me.
4. Prayer ministries: God is raising up many prayer ministries across of
Florida (there are others, but I wanted to pray specifically for these this
month). Pray Central Florida (George Kern), Space Coast Prayer Network
(Pastor Larry Booth), Spiritual Warfare Network (Diane Buker), Women's Aglow
(Janet Totera), Prayer Action Network (Gaile Howell), Tallahassee Bible
Institute (Jo Anne Arnett) and Maureen Bravo and her work in Central
Florida.
5. National Day of Prayer, May 6,1999. Please pray for Shirley Dobson,
the national Chairman and for all the prayer rallies that will be held
throughout the nation. We will holding a rally at the State Capitol at noon
on May 6 in the courtyard, Governor Jeb Bush will be the keynote speaker.
Please pray that millions of Americans will seek God's face for our nation.
The theme of this year's NDP is "Light the Nation...with Prayer." Please
pray that people will catch the vision to light our homes, our neighbor, our
schools, our workplaces, our cities, our state and our nation with prayer.
NDP has a new website at www.ndptf.org .If you want
more information about a NDP rally in your area please contact or state
office (information at the end of this alert). Missions America also has a
website at www.missionamerica.org for more
information on prayer.
6. "Lighthouses of Prayer", that God will raise up houses of prayer and
churches of prayer in each neighborhood across the state so that we can
light our state for Jesus.
7. 1999 Strategic Prayer Conference, April 28-30, being held in Houston,
Texas. Hosted by Eddie and Alice Smith 1-800-762-9191, www.usprayertrack.org
.Pray that people will get equipped to go
back into their communities with a heart for prayer.
8. Florida Prayer Network: please pray for our work across the state. I
have a specific burden to touch the hearts of our leaders for Christ, please
pray that the Lord continues to open doors for us to share the Gospel across
our state. Also for our efforts as the state office for the National Day of
Prayer

Thank you for your willingness to pray. Together we can make a
difference in Florida and in America. Don't stop seeking His face. Rejoice
in the fact that Jesus does answer prayer. I believe that God is raising up
people of prayer in every county in Florida and prayerfully in every city
and neighborhood that have a burning desire for revival. Stand strong
Florida, on your knees!
FPN can be reached at flprayer@gte.net or

others in your prayer groups and churches. Please let us know how we can
serve you in your prayer efforts.
Sincerely and prayerfully in Christ, Pam Olsen, President, Florida Prayer
Network

Good morning Pastor Phil! Thanks so much for the updates! I really

is doing great. He is planning to return to the pulpit on Resurrection

Thanks for this prayer network. Blessings to you-Pamela Rutherford, Women
