Grace, mercy and peace to you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am writing this message from a heart of deep concern and love for each and everyone of you. These are very "busy" days! The enemy is trying his hardest to distract us from our posts. I ask you, in Jesus name, to remember why God has brought us together as a Network. . . "To Bring God to California, and California to God.!" Maybe you haven't thought of it in those words, but in essence, I believe, that's why God has brought us together. This California State Solemn Assembly is not ours. It's the Lord's! We are not in charge. He is! He's called it, not us! He understands our struggles amidst warfare. He knows battle fatigue. He became weary. The battle rages as maybe as we have never seen before. We are standing in the trenches for a State and Country. The Church, the Bride of Christ, that lives here in this country is sick. She is ready for her wedding day. But she is sick! She lies on a stretcher being carried in and down the isle by four ushers. The people who are standing as the Bride comes by are amazed that she cannot walk and cannot consummate her wedding day with Her Bridegroom. The ushers put her down on the floor at the front of the church, but she is too sickly to get up. Suddenly and slowly, someone from the pew walks over to the Bride, kneels down by the stretcher and prays. Others in the audience are deeply moved, and one by one they leave their seats of comfort and gather kneeling around the Bride and pray for her restoration. As they pray her strengths begins to return. Her coloring turns from a sickly color to a healthy look. Her strength continues to return to her body as others, many more now, come forward to pray for her. She moves her legs and begins to sit up with the help of a friend close by. The people are encouraged as they see her improvement, and they pray all the harder. Hope returns to the Brides face. Determination and focus gleamer in her eyes. And with the help of others, she stands, becoming stronger and stronger as the prayers intensify. With each step, while walking toward her waiting and broadly smiling Groom, she becomes stronger and stronger. By the time she reaches her Groom's side, she is a picture of radiant health, and able to complete the purpose of her wedding day. This is a vision that was given to Bjorn Pedersen, an outstanding brother, pastor and prayer leader with Prayer Watch International, from Glendale, Arizona. The interpretation God gave to Bjorn concerning this vision is clear. The Bride of the Groom is sick. Although apparently beautiful on the outside, inside she's ill, nearly fatally so. It is when God put compassion into the heart of one person, who had the courage to step out of the comfortable pew to attend to the Bride and to pray for her, that her condition began to change. God has been touching the hearts of millions of people to pray for the Church in America and California. And I suspect that those praying for this sickly Bride in America are those from other lands. They see her plight and with compassion and respect for America are praying for you and me -- the Bride of Christ in this country, and specifically in California. The sickness of the Church in California has rendered her unable to fulfill her divine purpose. But that's changing! In response to the prayers of others health is coming back into her Body. And the infection doesn't like it as it tries to keep her under it's power. But as many of you have testified, the infectious power is being broken. The Bride's Great Physician is administering a potent procedure to deliver His patient from Her condition. He's administering large dosages of fasting and prayer. And now the enemies power and hold on the Bride is being broken as prayers go up - - - your prayers and those of many others are making a difference! As another has said, who understands wherein she speaks, "the baby is in the breech position and is stuck. God wants to turn it's head, so that beautiful child might be born." It''s a struggle to be sure, and it's easy to give up from fatigue. But the Great Physician is saying, "just one more push, and you'll be through." God knows this birthing process has been rough on all of us. But I need to remind you that our Lord is at our right hand, holding us. And if necessary, He'll even hold us and carry us! The Pastors of Sacramento and the Pray California Network serving team for this event, are saying, "PLEASE, come here to Sacramento and push this baby out!" What God is birthing through this Solemn Assembly and our spiritual connection with Washington D.C. and the National Prayer Summit, is going to begin healing for the Bride throughout America, and particularly our beloved State of California. Believe it. It's true!! SO, PLEASE, STAND IN THIS PLACE AND FULFILL THE CALLING OF GOD FOR THIS PRAYER NETWORK OF WHICH YOU HAVE BEEN A PART. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU IS IMPORTANT AND NECESSARY TO THE FULFILLMENT OF THE PURPOSES OF GOD FOR HIS KINGDOM AT THIS TIME. PLEASE . . . STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING . . . AND COME TO SACRAMENTO ! WE NEED YOU!! THE CHURCH NEEDS YOU! CALIFORNIA NEEDS YOU!! OUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU!! If it's a matter of finances, forget the registration!! We don't need it. God knows who you are! God will pay for what He orders. He's into "cattle futures". We won't worry about it. If it's a place you need to stay at when you get here, we'll trust God to open some "hospitable homes". We are SACRAMENTO, the city of the Sacrament, a place of salvation with hospitality and refreshment. Let our people show and shower their love on you. I cannot over emphasize the necessity of YOUR presence!!! Please note that in Leviticus 23:34-36, Numbers 29:35, and Deuteronomy 16:8, God called for a "work stoppage"! That's right . . . a work stoppage! Read it! They were to stop their work in the middle of their week and come before the LORD. I am sure that for some of you, that is a great sacrifice! But in deep humility, I am asking you to make that sacrifice as a love offering to your LORD. You will never regret it! And only eternity will reveal the total complicated impact your availability and obedience will have . . . "people are going to become free from their bondage and walk into the Kingdom of God, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ along - - - thanks to you." "Digging the Wells of Revival" is being hosted by Glad Tidings Church in San Francisco on February 4-5, 1999. See more information below. This is a significant site as in the early 1900's Glad Tidings Church in San Francisco was identified as being host to a succession of notable evangelists and revival meetings. Maria Woodworth-Etter, Robert Craig, Aimee Semple McPherson, Charles Shreve, George Alfred Trenner, Charles S. Price, Smith Wigglesworth, William Booth-Clibborn (grandson of the founder of the Salvation Army), were among those that shaped the history of revival at Glad Tidings - San Francisco. Ever since the 1930's or 1940's it has never been the same. In Lou Engels book, "Digging the Wells of Revival", Lou says, "I believe God is saying we can go to the wells of of our spiritual forefathers and dig again to find new streams of revival bubbling forth. I am not speaking of redigging a well to return to the traditions of the past, or to rediscover old methods or cherished doctrine. Rather I am talking of coming alive again with the waters of the Holy Spirit that were found in the wells of our spiritual ancestors!" Philippians 2 4. Pray that forces of darkness - principalities, powers, demons would be bound in the Name of Jesus. Ask the Lord to send warrior angels to encircle Glad Tidings and to fight off any type of enemy attack in Jesus' Name. Colossians 1:19 5. For the love and power of the Holy Spirit to be present. 6.
