Personal Update Feb 2005

We are grateful for friends and family who support us in prayer,

A note from Carol who is with on our nine week pregnant daughter Jennie:
Jennie has been holding 2
out of 3 meals down... went to work Friday - her team arranged her schedule
so that all she had to be was a body in the classroom - she barely had to
teach. Jennie came home totally wiped and vomiting but at least she made it
through the day. Tomorrow starts a real work week - we are praying that she
can make it through and not end up in the hospital for a third time! It is
good I am here... JJ has coaching and his days are long - at least I can
make sure meals are made and pack snacks for Jennie to be able to have a
little something at school every 2 hours. (At this point she can't even
walk in the kitchen without gagging and starting the vomiting!...leads to
dehydration... leads to the hospital ... leads to having lost 10 lb) We are
thanking God for this little one ... not quite understanding why it has to
be this way right now! Love. Carol

Jeremy Giacomino’s graduation from Marin Boot Camp in San Diego

it was pouring rain)

with Jorie, Tim and Sophia while finishing projects for Church Prayer
Leaders Network and Illinois Baptist Association
- My work at Uptown
Baptist Church continues to be a enjoyable and productive! Pray for:

on diversity as we celebrate Black History Month
.Vision-casting at the Elders retreat (18-19)
.Dumpster Day – A comprehensive clean-out of storage rooms and
offices (I will be stepping on several sets of toes!)
- I will be working
with several cities this year for City Impact Roundtable and Loving Our
Cities to Christ (a new initiative)
- God’s favor to reach
more through NPPN and One Great City and CPLN e-casts
