This may be the only way for millions of Americans to “accept” an overturning of
the Roe v. Wade case that made abortion legal.
Pray for Morma McConvey; that she’ll be strong and safe, that she’ll give clear
and incontrovertible statements regarding the case and her faith.

By Michael Ireland
Chief Correspondent, ASSIST News Service
DALLAS, TX (ANS) -- Norma McCorvey, the
former "Roe" of Roe v. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court case that legalized
abortion, filed an historic motion June 17 to reopen her case and request that
it be overturned. The filing is based on changes in law and factual conditions
since the new evidence that was not available when the high court handed down
its U.S. Supreme Court rendered its decision judgment 30 years ago.
As a party to the original litigation, Norma McCorvey has the right to may
petition the court to request that the original case be reopen the original case
based on changes in factual conditions evidence and/or changes in law that make
the prior decision "no longer just," said Allan E. Parker, Jr., lead attorney
for the Texas-based Justice Foundation.
The motion was filed at the Ferris Plaza Park on the corner of Houston and
Records Streets -- just blocks away from the Earl Cabell Federal Building,
across from the Dallas County Courthouse at the in Dallas, Texas, where the
decision judgment was first entered exactly 33 years ago. McCorvey Norma is
asking that the judgment in the original Roe case be set aside.
"I long for the day that justice will be done and the guilt from all of these
deaths will be removed from my shoulders," said Norma McCorvey. "I want to do
everything in my power to help women and their children. The issue is justice
for the unborn, justice in this case because it was fraudulent, and justice for
what is right."
