Highlight the role of prayer in the church’s vision
for ministry
¸
Make certain prayer is a core value
¸
Inform new members on the strategic role of prayer
and the church's expectation of their personal involvement
¸
Explain the place of prayer in setting and reaching
objectives
¸
List prayer as a priority goal for the entire
congregation
¸
Have constitutions riddled with the word prayer
¸ Itemize prayer in
their ministry budget
¸
Identify prayer as a spiritual gift or specific role
for the church
¸
Provide resources that motivate and cultivate prayer
¸
Express worship and praise as corporate prayer with
music
¸
Encourage members to develop a strong personal life of
prayer
¸ Expect each committee,
board, group, class, ministry to devote a tithe of their meeting to prayer
¸ Equip the entire
congregation in the dynamics of corporate prayer including youth and
children
¸
Focus on prayer through a series of sermons,
practical workshops, holy assemblies

Emphasize prayer in Sunday bulletins, monthly
